NORTH HOLLYWOOD — On the evening of Thursday, March 31st at 7 p.m., the San Fernando Valley East Chapter of Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA-SFVE) will host its fourth bi-annual Community Reception.
The event is an exceptional opportunity for participants to network with a variety of local leaders in government, business, and community institutions and will be free of charge to all attendees who RSVP. As space is limited, all those who wish to attend are asked to register as soon as possible by visiting www.ancavalley.org.
The ANCA-SFVE is proud to announce that this year’s Community Reception will once again be co-hosted by L.A. Banquets at its beautiful Le-Foyer venue in North Hollywood, California.
In addition to networking, the reception will provide an intimate setting for the area’s public officials, businesspersons, professionals, and community leaders to discuss issues appertaining the local Armenian-American community.
The ANCA-SFVE and its scores of grassroots activists continue to work toward raising the civic engagement, voter registration, and political awareness of Armenian-Americans residing in the eastern San Fernando Valley. The ANCA-SFVE emphasizes increased engagement of youth and young adults in community affairs and developing an increased sense of pride in community.
Such efforts have been especially fruitful in recent years. Home to tens of thousands of Armenian-American residents, several elected public officials of Armenian descent, thousands of Armenian-American professionals, and hundreds of Armenian-American owned businesses, the eastern San Fernando Valley neighborhoods of North Hollywood, Studio City, Van Nuys, Panorama City, Sun Valley, Sherman Oaks and neighboring areas have become the hub of the greater Los Angeles City Armenian-American community.
It is the ANCA-SFVE’s goal to continue providing a platform to facilitate cooperation and activism within the Armenian-American community and increase engagement in the political and civic fabric of the East San Fernando Valley.
