H. Res. 296 – Affirming the United States record on the Armenian Genocide

Affirming the United States record on the Armenian Genocide (H. Res. 296), introduced on April 08, 2019 and spearheaded by Representatives Adam Schiff, Gus Bilirakis (R-FL), Frank Pallone (D-NJ) and Peter King (R-NY), H. Res. 296 would 1) lock in permanent U.S. remembrance of the Armenian Genocide, 2) officially reject Turkey’s systematic and gloabl denial of the Armenian Genocide, and 3) ensure that the lessons of this horrific crime are used to help prevent future atrocities.


S. Res. 150 – The Armenian Genocide Resolution 

The Armenian Genocide Resolution (S. Res. 150), A resolution expressing the sense of the Senate that it is the policy of the United States to commemorate the Armenian Genocide through official recognition and remembrance was introduced by Senators Robert Menendez (D-NJ) on April 09, 2019.
