St. James Armenian Apostolic Church to Host Annual Food Festival

LOS ANGELES—The St. James Armenian Apostolic Church will host their weekend-long 76th Annual Food Festival beginning Saturday, August 27. Located on the corner of Slauson and LaTiera, the festival will begin at 5 pm until 10pm. There will be music, dancing, Armenian burgers, drinks and a cigar booth.  On Sunday, August 28, the festivities will begin at 12:30pm with a full Armenian menu, live Armenian music, Armenian dancers,  games, raffle prizes  and activities for all.

Steve Chelebian, Chairperson of the Festival, promised that this year will be the best ever with the new play area, vendors, games, fabulous Armenian food and drinks and the traditional Armenian music and dancing.  Chelebian said that enthusiasm is high for the return of to a two-day festival.
