The Armenian Relief Society is currently seeking qualified candidates for its UN Coordinator position. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to carry out the work of the Armenian Relief Society at the United Nations.
Since 1970, the Armenian Relief Society (ARS) has been active in the United Nations. Through its active participation in various committees, ARS remains a champion of human rights, social justice, and universally endorsed values and principles. The ARS UN Coordinator will be based in New York City, representing the ARS at United Nations official activities as well as in meetings and projects initiated by various Non-Governmental Organizations in affiliation with the UN’s Department of Public Information (DPI) and the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). They will also be responsible for organizing events, coordinating UN visits, and other related tasks.
