YEREVAN—On the initiative of the Tekeyan Centre Fund and Photo.Podium.com, a photo exhibition “Dynamic Light” authored by American-Armenians Ted Andreasyan and Nune Karamyan, opened at Tekeyan Centre.

The exhibition features 76 photographs of places the authors have lived: Armenia, Dubai and New York. The long exposure technique they use in photography allows showing the moving dynamic of light and the sky while creating stillness in immovable objects. At the same time, black and white help to emphasize shapes and shadows.

To make their first solo show in Yerevan perfect and to express their worldview through photos, the couple came to Armenia in April 2016 to take new pictures. “We try to show the length of history, the stability and strength of beauty, and unfortunately, that human beings are not eternal,” said Karamyan.

At the opening of the exhibition, the authors were welcomed and received congratulations on the successful function from the Director of the Tekeyan Centre Fund Armen Tsulikyan and from Armen Yengoyan, a photographer and the curator of the internet resource Photo.Podium.com. They wished the author’s great success in future and hoped to establish long cooperation to realize new culturally valuable projects.

Andreasyan and Karamyan have participated in a number of international exhibitions in Armenia, Russia and the USA and have won several prizes.

The exhibition will remain open at Tekeyan Centre until October 25, 2016.
