The Armenian National Committee of America – Orange County chapter has officially endorsed Dr. Kevork Abazajian for Irvine City Council.
Twelve candidates are competing for two City council seats this coming 2018 general election and on November 6th, Irvine voters will be able to choose two candidates for a four-year term on City Council. After a long and exhaustive evaluation process, the organization is happy to endorse Dr. Kevork Abazajian.
In this tumultuous time in the American political climate, having scientist and experts run for political office is a welcomed change. Dr. Abazajian is a University of California professor, scientist, and local leader dedicated to improving his city and bringing greater transparency to Orange County politics.
Numerous elected officials like Congressman Alan Lowenthal and Congresswoman Linda Sanchez understand the necessity of having a leader like Dr. Abazajian on City Council.
