BRUSSELS (Armenpress) — The Armenian delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) has established a specific strategy and is ready to rebuff the anti-Armenian reports included in the agenda of the coming winter session.

Naira Karapetyan, National Assembly Republican Faction Parliamentarian, and member of the Armenian delegation to PACE expressed that the Armenian delegation has developed a definite strategy and are hopeful that they will achieve positive results.

Regarding the EAFJD (European Armenian Federation for Justice and Democracy) – initiated online petition against the two anti-Armenian reports of PACE winter session agenda, Karapetyan noted that the members of the Armenian delegation will voice the results of the petition during the session.

Karapetyan was also very confident that the number of signatories for the petition would increase greatly when winter session begins.

PACE winter session will start on January 25. Two anti-Armenian reports are included in the session agenda. One of the draft resolutions is authored by British MP Robert Walter on “Escalation of violence in Nagorno-Karabakh and the other occupied territories of Azerbaijan”. The second draft resolution is titled “Inhabitants of frontier regions of Azerbaijan are deliberately deprived of water” by MP Milica Marković (Bosnia and Herzegovina).

1012 have already signed EAFJD-initiated petition.
