YEREVAN (ARMENPRESS)—Members of the First Armenian Front (FAF) football fan group marched toward the Football Federation of Armenia yesterday in Yerevan to express grievances with the federation’s handling of players and teams as well as to introduce certain demands.

The FAF’s first demand is that the federation invites a professional coach from abroad. The second demand involves the inclusion of certain payers to the Armenian national team who have not been invited due to conflicts. The fans also demanded that the ticket prices to matches be lowered.

Finally, the FAF has demanded the resignation of the president of the Football Federation of Armenia, Ruben Hayrapetyan, as well as the entire executive committee of the federation.

Hayrapetyan has been at the center of several criminal allegations, including the beating of a majority stakeholder in Air Armenia and the beating of an opposition activist and Artsakh war veteran.

The FAF will reportedly hold another march in Yerevan on Friday, November 20.
