Armenian Sorority AGA to Host ‘Runway to Relief’ Fashion Show
Proceeds to be Donated to Women’s Support Center in Armenia
BURBANK, Calif.—On March 31st, Alpha Gamma Alpha Inc., the sole Armenian sorority in the United States, will be hosting its third ever Runway to Relief Fashion Show at Six01 Studios in Burbank at 8pm (630 S Flower St, Burbank, California 91502). Doors will open at 7:30pm.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Women’s Support Center in Yerevan, Armenia, which is a comprehensive safehouse for women and children who have been victims of domestic abuse. The center works towards the prevention of domestic violence through protection, empowerment, rehabilitation, education, and by challenging social institutions to help mobilize change.
The show will feature pieces by Penny Lane Vintage, Inch Ka Chika T-Shirts, BLVD COUTURE, Kris Vanoian, Vann Adrik Couture and Armenian cultural garments provided by Gevorkian Dance Academy.
Entertainment will be provided by Aya Dance Ensemble, Elian Grigorian, Christina Kozanian and Bombagranate comedy group.
