LOS ANGELES—Arto Tunçboyacıyan of the Armenian Navy Band along with pianist Vardan Ovsepian and cellist Artyom Manukyan are playing a free concert in Downtown LA on Saturday, July 2, as a band called “1 To 3.” They will be performing at the California Plaza, located at 350 S Grand Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90071.

Their performance is part of the annual Grand Performances outdoor concert with the mission to inspire community, celebrate diversity, and unite Los Angeles through free access to global performing arts. This summer concert brings together an urban oasis of music, dance, multimedia, and spoken word where shows are always free and open to the public. Hailed as the “Best Free Outdoor Summer Concert Series,” Grand Performances returned mid-June for its 30th Anniversary season with an international and local lineup of artists that reflect the diversity and cultural depth of Los Angeles.

Audience members picnic, dance, or simply sit and enjoy the performances amongst the tall office and residential skyscrapers and the stars at the California Plaza. Performances run from June 10 through August 21.
