Asbarez turns 108 on August 14

On August 14, Asbarez will turn 108.

For more than a century, this newspaper, which had its humble, yet very decisive beginnings in Fresno has been a constant presence in the homes of thousands of Armenian-Americans. And, you, our readers, have been there with us for the past 108 years.

That is why we are asking you to join us in celebrating this anniversary and ensuring that Asbarez can continue its mission, unabated for many more years—if not centuries—to come.

Today, Asbarez is the only bi-lingual Armenian newspaper in the country. We are committed to our mission—that was stated with our first publication—of providing coverage to relevant news from Armenia, the scattered Diasporan communities, as well as here at home, becoming a bridge between your home and the homeland.

We have continued our operations, often by ensuring that we do not burden our readers and simply to serve them—You!
For example, for years, we have not increased our subscription fees and have strived to provide our advertisers with the best, yet compatible, prices on the market.

For our 108th, we would like to ask you to join us in celebrating this anniversary by becoming a part of our continued success with a nominal donation that will be counted as a humble gift for a humble institution.

To take part in the celebration, please donate now or click on the box with our anniversary announcement.
Without you—our readers—there would be no point in publishing Asbarez. So, please continue our journey with us and ensure that we may continue to be a part of your life.
