Montebello delegation meets with Artsakh President Bako Sahakian

STEPNAKERT—A delegation from the City of Montebello visited Artsakh to officially present city officials a firetruck donated by the City of Montebello and to further develop plans for the Montebello-Stepanakert Sister City program.

The firetruck was transported to Armenia and then made its way to Stepanakert in earlier this Fall.

The delegation included Montebello Mayor Jack Hadjinian and members of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation Dro Gomideh. Also accompanying the delegation is ARF Western US Central Committee member Levon Kirakosian.

On Wednesday, the delegation met with Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Presdient Bako Sahakian, with whom issues related to Stepanakert-Montebello sister-city projects were discussed.

President Sahakian highlighted consistent deepening and expansion of ties between the capital of Artsakh and the City of Montebello, assessing it as exemplary in terms of promoting friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation.
