YEREVAN (Arka) — The 12 teams which are taking part in the acceleration program of Microsoft Innovation Center Armenia will present their innovative products to international IT experts, potential investors, and entrepreneurs on February 21 at The Demo Day final event in Ayb School, according to Microsoft.
Cooperating with experienced mentors and consultants as part of the program launched in November, the teams have obtained the skills necessary for achieving success in information technology industry.
“The best startups have been selected from 50 applicants,” Artashes Vardanyan, the head of the Microsoft Innovative Center Armenia, said. “In tune with world trends, Armenian teams propose solutions for global problems related to many areas, such as shared economy and video production, as well as various business solutions to companies etc…”
Microsoft Innovation Center Armenia focuses its activities on development of innovative mentality and skills as well as elaboration of products and services which are in demand at local and international markets.
The center conducts re-training classes for IT specialists and implements acceleration projects involving startups with innovative ideas in them.
