ARS selected as recipient of proceeds from the third annual Eat and Feed fundraiser
BURBANK—Red Top Market and Kitchen in Burbank has selected the Armenian Relief Society of Western USA’s Heart to Heart program as the recipient of proceeds from their third annual Eat and Feed fundraisers being held in December.
The first fundraiser held on Sunday, December 6 was a great success. Together with their families, community members and ARS members, gathered in support at Red Top Market & Kitchen located on the corner of Glenoaks Boulevard and Providencia Avenue in Burbank (600 S Glenoaks Blvd.).
A supporter expressed, “We believe in the committed work of the ARS and commend Red Top Market for their efforts. With this small gesture we are able to offer our support to this important cause.”

ARS Regional Executive Board Chairperson Rebecca Berberian greatly praised Albert Giragossian and Arthur Giragossian, organizers of the Eat and Feed program. Berberian stated, “Red Top Market has been organizing fundraisers in support of philanthropic organizations for the past three years. Particularly during the holiday season, their donation greatly lessens the weight carried by the organizations. We are very pleased that the Red Top Market management has selected the ARS as their recipient.”
The next two fundraisers are scheduled for Sunday, December 13 and December 20 from 10a.m. to 5p.m. In spirit of the motto, “With the People, For the People,” we encourage the community and ARS members to support this fundraising initiative. Through the support of the community, the ARS will be able to bring a smile to the faces of those most in need by providing them assistance.
The Armenian Relief Society of Western USA, established in 1984 and with regional headquarters in Glendale, CA, has 26 chapters and more than 1,200 members in four western states. The ARS operates a Social Services Division and Child, Youth, and Family Guidance Center, and funds numerous youth programs, scholarships, and relief efforts.
