Dr. Mireille Hamparian and guests mark the grand opening of the Socal Vision Center in Glendale, California.
GLENDALE—On Thursday, June 16, Dr. Mireille Hamparian was pleased to officially mark the grand opening of her new and state of the art medical office in Glendale, California. Dr. Hamparian is a board-certified ophthalmologist and eye surgeon who specializes in glaucoma. The grand opening was attended by a diverse group of medical professionals from across Southern California. The grand opening was attended by Kevin Roberts, President and CEO of the Glendale Adventist Center, Glendale City Clerk and State Assembly candidate Ardashes Kassakhian and Baydsar Thomasian representing California State Senate President Kevin DeLeon, among other distinguished guests.
The new office is located conveniently at 1451 East Chevy Chase Drive, adjacent to the Glendale Adventist Medical Center. From this new and state of the art medical office, Dr. Hamparian will continue to treat a wide variety of eye diseases, including cataracts. Her practice provides a special emphasis in treating glaucoma; from diagnosis to treatment, from medical therapy to lasers and surgery.
“I am pleased that my patients will be able to benefit from the comfort and convenience of our new medical office,” remarked Dr. Hamparian at the grand opening of the SoCal Vision Center. “At the end of the day, the experience of my patients matters most to me. I am confident our new home at the SoCal Vision Center will enhance the experience of my patients,” she added.
In addition to strengthening her ophthalmology practice, the SoCal Vision Center is offering a new convenience – the ability to purchase prescription eyeglasses and prescription sunglasses on site. This new amenity will allow patients to choose from a wide selection of some of the best and most sought after eyeglass brands in the nation.
Dr. Hamparian earned her B.S. in Biochemistry at the University of California, Los Angeles and went on to earn her Doctorate of Medicine degree at Albany Medical College in New York. She concluded her fellowship in glaucoma at the University of Maryland after completing her residency in ophthalmology.
Dr. Mireille Hamparian is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Glaucoma Society, California Medical Association, California Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons and the Armenian American Medical Society of Southern California. Last year and again this year, Dr. Hamparian was named a Top Doc by Pasadena Magazine.
