YEREVAN —A Reebok Sports Club will open in Yerevan in April 2017, the presidential press service announced on Monday. The establishment of the club became possible through franchise agreements with world renowned company Reebok.

Armenian president Serzh Sarkisian and Yerevan mayor Taron Margaryan visited the sports club in Yerevan’s Davitashen district, accompanied by the founders and managers of the club

According to the press service, up to 300 jobs will be created during the period of 2017-2020.

As the region’s largest Reebok Sports Club, it will provide services to about 15,000 customers annually.

There are also plans to create a rehabilitation sports center for injured athletes, read the press release, and will be equipped with modern technologies.

The club costs 23 million euros to create, where 19.5 million euros have already been invested.
