WASHINGTON, DC — Armenian Americans throughout the Eastern U.S. will be joining together in the nation’s capital to salute expanding Armenian American activism at the 10th annual Armenian National Committee of America Eastern Region (ANCA-ER) Banquet, to be held on Saturday, December 3rd.
This year, the banquet – “We Are #ArtsakhStrong” – will focus on the ANCA’s ongoing efforts in support of the status, security, and development of the Republic of Nagorno Karabakh, as Artsakh marks the 25th anniversary of its independence.
“We look forward to bringing the ANCA-ER Banquet to our nation’s capital, building on a decade of successful events held throughout the Eastern US and Midwest, as we celebrate our unwavering commitment to Artsakh freedom,” said ANCA Eastern Region Chairman Steve Mesrobian. “Our committee is working hard to organize an unforgettable weekend dedicated to the committed and passionate community advocates who volunteer tirelessly – year in – year out – to advance pro-Artsakh and broad range of Armenian American priorities.”
The banquet, sponsored by the ANCA Eastern Region Endowment Fund, will begin with an elegant cocktail reception and silent auction at 6:00 p.m., followed by dinner and awards ceremony at 7:30 p.m. The event will take place at the prestigious Westin Arlington Gateway located at 801 N Glebe Rd, Arlington, VA 22203.
