At the meeting with Representative Trahan, ANC of Merrimack Valley leaders including Ara Jeknavorian, Armen Jeknavorian and Mimi Parseghian, discussed issues related to US-Armenia relations, security and stability for Artsakh, and permanent US government recognition of the Armenian Genocide.

The delegation also encouraged Representative Trahan to co-sponsor the Artsakh Travel and Communication Act (H.Res.190) and H.Res.452, which aims to improve relations between the U.S. and Armenia.
